A Note from the Immediate
Past-President

This is an exciting time for the SLML membership as the organization is now in the beginning stages of preparing to host the MCMLA 2006 annual meeting. “The MCMLA annual meeting is held each fall at a different city in the chapter's region. The annual meetings offer exciting speakers; discussions on national, regional, and local issues; sharing of information; continuing education courses; and contacts and friendships.”

As Immediate Past- President I am responsible for directing special projects assigned by the President and the Executive Committee. I will need the membership’s help in assisting with the successful execution of the MCMLA 2006 meeting here in the show me state. Therefore, volunteers are needed for the following committees:

• EXHIBITORS AND VENDOR COMMITTEE
• PROGRAM AND PUBLICITY COMMITTEE
• REGISTRATION AND ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE

Let’s work together as a team to make the MCMLA 2006 annual meeting: GATEWAY TO re-DISCOVERY a fun and successful event. The meeting will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Clayton, MO., October 11-15, 2006. Thanks in advance for all of your help. Please email me if you have additional questions.
