The HSC Library at Saint Louis University has initiated a liaison program to provide enhanced services to library users. The liaison program links reference department subject specialists with faculty and students in health sciences programs. All reference liaisons have formal biomedical science education and background.

Liaison services include research partnerships with faculty and students, assistance in locating information resources in online and print formats, and facilitating access to a wide array of biomedical databases. Reference liaisons offer classroom instruction on library resources, help with setting up course reserves for electronic or traditional print materials, and provide library orientation sessions for new and returning students.

Reference Librarian Mary Krieger coordinates the liaison outreach program. For more information, please contact Mary at: kriegerm@slu.edu or by phone at (314) 977-8810.
