SLML is a local professional organization of individuals and organizations in the health science fields within the St. Louis area and from the State of Missouri. The mission of SLML is to:
Membership to SLML is open to anyone working or interested in the health sciences.
SLML is one of the local chapters within the (MCMLA) under the Medical Library Association (MLA).
SLML membership is separate from MCMLA and MLA—you can be a member of all three organizations.
The membership year is January to December and dues are $20.00 per year (institutional or individual).
SLML offers two types of memberships: institutional or individual.
Institutional membership is available for those who may want their institution to pay the dues, or to indicate an institution’s commitment to be a participant in SLML and its projects and activities. Each individual and institutional member has one vote. There is only one vote allowed to an institutional member, even if there is more than one person from the institution who represents the group. If more than one person at an institution wants to enjoy the full privileges of membership, they should become an individual member.
Interested persons should complete the membership form. The membership form can be completed online, then printed out OR printed out and completed by hand. The completed form should be mailed to the Membership Chair along with a check for $20.00.
