The following airlines provide service to Lambert St. Louis International Airport: American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Northwest, Southwest, United and US Airways. Here are some options on getting from the airport to the Crowne Plaza St. Louis-Clayton Hotel.
Hotel Shuttle Bus:
The Crowne Plaza does have a hotel shuttle bus which runs from the airport to the hotel and back again. In the airport baggage claim area, MCMLA2006 attendees will see the hotel courtesy phones. Use the phone for the Crowne Plaza – St. Louis, Clayton and you will be told if the shuttle is at the airport, on its way or will be sent.
Other Airport Shuttles:
There are also general airport shuttles that make various runs for approximately $25.00 per passenger, one way.
Metrolink/Metro:
MCMLA2006 attendees can take the Metrolink/Metro train. Attendees can board Metrolink at the airport station and get off the train at the Forest Park/DeBaliviere station. Change trains to the southbound track on its way to Shrewsbury and get off at the Clayton station. The hotel is three blocks from the Metrolink station. Get off at the Clayton station, go right to Central Avenue (2 blocks) and then right again on Carondelet and the hotel is just around the corner. Prices range from $2.25 to $4.50. Taxi Service:
St. Louis County Cab/Yellow Cab is the most reliable and reasonable taxi service providers. They will not be in the taxi stand line at the airport. From a pay phone, or cell phone, call 314-993-8294. Have your airline and flight number ready. If you are in the airport baggage area, look for a County/Yellow Cab house phone and dial #24 to call the dispatcher directly at no charge to you. From the Main Terminal follow the signs at Exit MT14 in the baggage claim area for TAXIS. Go out the exit and look ahead and slightly to the right for a red and white (or yellow) cab. From the East Terminal – go out Door ET 12, cross the street to the parking garage and our cabs will be to your right. Again, if your cab is not there waiting for you, we'll meet you there shortly.
Hotel Parking:
MCMLA2006 attendees who are driving and staying at the hotel, the daily parking rate in the hotel garage is $6/day. For MCMLA2006 attendees who are commuting, the daily parking rate in the hotel garage is $4/day. For those commuting, go to the hotel registration desk and purchase the $4 parking garage voucher that will need to be presented to the garage attendant upon leaving the garage.
Directions from Interstate 70 to Crowne Plaza St. Louis Clayton (7750 Carondelet)
Coming East on Interstate 70 take Interstate 170 South EXIT 238B.
Drive Interstate 170 to Ladue Road exit and turn right at the end of the ramp.
Drive Ladue Road (the street name will change to Maryland) to Hanley Road and turn right.
Drive Hanley Road to Carondelet and turn right. The hotel will be on your left.
